A World Without Pain?
What do you think would have to be done in order to insure a community without suffering? As we discussed in class, what causes emotional suffering in the first place? How could that be avoided or prevented? I look forward to reading your ideas. Either post them here or bring your written ideas on Monday. See you then!

We agree in class about physical pain and we said that we can avoided if everyone has the same things(house, car, money, etc) but to avoid emocional suffering the only way to do it i believe is controling your mind since you born as well when you are growing, the community used fear as a weapon like if you do something like break a rule they said that you are gonna be "release" i don't know what is the meaning of that but I'm already scare about it hehehe; as Jonas said in the chapter two The Elders have been watching him and they have people who is watching you always is like if you dont have your own space but when you grow whit all of this is normal to you; you only learn one way to do things you dont have bad influences and if you dont have someone to show you bad things you cant go wrong so you dont suffer you dont even know the suffer meaning; maybe I'm wrong and is other way to control the emotional suffering but for me this is the only way. Talking about tomorrow class I'm going to be absent because my dentist appointment, I wish I could be there to talk about how to control the emocional suffering but it could not be posible, i just read the chapter two and i love The Giver I cant wait to find out how they control suffering.
